Being from the Midwest, news from that part of the country is always welcome. So it is with MARISSA HUNTER, who is now the CSD at Weigel’s ABC affil WBND in South Bend, Indiana. It’s actually a promotion for the talented lady who was Sr. Promotions Producer until she got the nod. She’s one of those rare folks who can do technical stuff along with the creative stuff. She has been a Producer, Director and Editor at WNIT Public TV in South Bend before becoming a Technical Director at WSBT. However did she do that – all those buttons! So glad she let her creative side loose. A big Well Dunne! to Marissa.

Before this writer dives headlong into each and every Christmas movie to be found online, accompanied by a box of Kleenex, Dr. Pepper and a plastic tub of sesame sticks, some uplifting words to those who are reading this blog from the offices they will today exit for the last time. Everything is going to be all right. Yes, that’s a song but it’s also a truism. If you are still breathing, the world is open to possibility. No rock throwing please. Not as much of a Pollyanna as before but definite in the knowledge and knowing that everything IS going to be all right. And we are all going to take care of each other. It’s the right thing to do.
