They don’t call it The Big Apple for nothing, Bay-bee. Haven’t been to NYC since 2019 and there’s been tons of changes – some even as we read this. But this is true…it’s the most amazing city filled with people who themselves can be the focus of novels and screenplays. The energy…the history…the culture…the shops and food and…it’s The Big Apple. Market #1. And now a Mizzou grad is heading up the Creative Services Department for Nexstar’s WPIX, New York’s Very Own. COURT PASSANT had been Managing Editor there since coming onboard in August. That sure did pay off. Court has been a Consultant and Digital Content Specialist for Fox TV Stations in NYC as well as VP of Affiliate Marketing for ViacomCBS. CBS News saw him take the reigns of Executive Director Broadcast Marketing (think 60 Minutes, 48 Hours, etc) after an impressive stint as Exec Producer for CBS News itself. On the station side of things, he produced at WHAS in Louisville and WSBT in South Bend. Of course, like many J students at Mizzou, he began at KOMU in Columbia. A very happy holiday, Court. I hope the new gig and the new year will be Well Dunne!

Think About This: “When you’re not used to being confident, confidence feels like arrogance. When you’re not used to being passive, assertiveness feels like aggression. When you’re mnot used to getting your needs met, prioritizing yourself feels selfish. You comfort zone is not a good benchmark.” ~ somewhere on the net
