Before the biz of the biz, a big Well Dunne! and the best to the new married couple, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. VanWassenhove. The happy twosome were wed this weekend. Mr. is a super creative producer at Orlando’s WFTV.
Been in the biz a long time…been writing this a LONG time…and the extensive list of open slots is the longest ever. If someone knows otherwise, share. But this is an amazing list. It’s not some anomaly…it’s what’s happening all over for all segments. Lawyers tired of their lucrative slots. Waiters of all sexes walking away. Creative people realizing we have all the tools a station used to provide and they’re all on the machine you’re reading this from now. Market size used to mean more tools, more money and more creative freedom. All of that is smoke…gone. Things are not business as usual. However, there are good positions below and we all gotta pay the rent.
