Even with today’s instant and constant communication, not all info gets shared in a timely manner. Such is the case with the passing of a TV marketing pro. JEANNIE JANES did an amazing job as CSD at KSAT in San Antonio. She taught me about the legal importance of getting signed clearances  when using footage for promos. Ahem…Netflix please note and refer to that sentence Jeannie left TV and went into PR before finding another career path – Arabian horses. She bred them and raced them. A Texas girl by choice (long before today’s craziness) she was a Longhorn and loved working on The Daily Texan. A news junkie, she started her TV adventure in the newsroom as a producer before going into other areas. As Molly Ivins might say, a real good broad. She left us in June of this year.

LESLIE SADLEY BEBKO who was at WJET in Erie for fifteen years before stepping away from daily TV has been promoted in her ‘new’ job.  She’s Events Operations Manager at Life Science Connect, a medical marketing services company. Well Dunne! Leslie.
