In the first of what will be many changes in the marketing departments of the Scripps chain comes word that JACOB WALLACE, a man who bubbles with enthusiasm about doing TV promo, is headed to be closer to his family AND a lot of great fish. He’ll be vacating the CSD office at KJRH in Tulsa and will be filling two offices…one in Tallahassee at WTXL and one at KATC in Lafayette. He’s from Alexandria so he knows the territory They call it Regional Creative Services Director. He started in TV as a photojournalist and some kind of engineering duty at OKC’s KFOR then was statewide Marketing Producer for Griffin Communications’ two stations in the Sooner State. From there he got in the door in Atlanta at legendary WSB first as an ENG Coordinator then a News Prepro Editor. After some freelancing in ‘Hotlanta’, he got hired on as Promo Manager in Tulsa and was promoted to CSD. I bet he’s going to love the Cajun cooking and sea breezes of the Florida and Louisiana areas. So happy for you Jacob! Well Dunne!
Send some good healthy thoughts to ED CRONY, one of the best writers around (and there are a ton of writers, so you know how good he is to stand out). Getting a little thing fixed. Luckily his sense of humor and talent were and are not affected.
