All Who Wander Are Not Lost. What a lovely and accurate observation. So true. And so appropriate to the creative personality. Wandering in all its forms makes one more creative. New ideas, sights, smells, sounds….wandering just sparks the best of what may be. Perhaps a hallmark to be used when selecting new talent for your company/project/network… All that leads us to Las Vegas. Vegas? Yes, Vegas where one such creative wanderer has landed at KTNV, the Scripps ABC affil in Sin City where CSD LARRY WATZMAN (a favorite of long standing) has tapped him to be his #2. Welcome to the desert STEVEN FICHTEL. Mr. Steven began his journey in Augusta, Georgia as a news photog for WRDW. He slipped over to promotions and hasn’t really looked back, although all he learned as a shooter is totally making him a better marketing type. He’s worked in Seattle, at Hearst’s WGAL in Lancaster PA, as a Sr. writer/producer for Fox Carolina, and done freelance in LA. Very interesting. Larry has an excellent eye for talent, so it’s going to be fun watching these two. BTW Steven’s black lab is his copilot. Well Dunne, Steven!
