WILL MAHON is one lucky guy. Talented and lucky. That is a great combo. He’s the new creative writer producer at Nexstar’s CBS affil in Portland, Oregon. Normally I’d insert a hopefully amusing bon mot here, but it’s cold, snowy, and Monday. Anyway, Will found himself looking for a place to land after the Tegna changes that happened at KGW where he was writing and producing marketing materials. So his new job means he doesn’t need to pack any boxes! Same great city! Will has also worked in Medford where he began as a cameraman (now called Video Journalist) at KOBI, NBC in the aforementioned Medford. BTW someone please help Medford get a nickname. Doesn’t currently have one. He worked at KDRV in the town with no nickname (which could actually be a nickname) as a newscast director TD and then CSD. Will, so happy to hear the news. Well Dunne!
