There is a lot going on…and despite the fact staying home is happening, it seems there’s a constant need to catch up. Like writing about DOM NARDO’s retirement. After phone tag for a week (or more or less…who knows about time anymore)…it seems that sending our adieu to Dom is in order. Retirement for many TV marketing types is relatively rare. Who doesn’t love being creative and getting paid for it? However, not commuting, even online, Monday mornings is enticing. Dom is closing his door at WXIX, FOX 19 NOW in Cincinnati where he was Marketing Director. He’s a grad of Ohio University so that last job was like a homecoming. He worked at ABC affil WCPO as Creative Services Director in the City of Seven Hills (akin to Rome) . It’s also home to the best ice cream – Graeters. He spent time as Director of Marketing and Promotion for Buffalo’s WIVB/WNLO before heading to Ohio. Now he’s free to spend his days as he sees fit. Let’s hope his creativity isn’t retired and he’ll be bringing his talents to light in different ways. Sorry to lose you Dom. Have a happy retirement and know your contributions to the biz are Well Dunne!

Think About This: “Ends are not bad things, they just mean that something else is about to begin. And there are many things that don’t really end, anyway, they just begin again in a new way. Ends are not bad and many ends aren’t really an ending; some things are never-ending.” ~ C. JoyBell C.
