This January has been a real downer. Of course, that brings up the concept that every January, with it’s weird and inhospitable weather combined with the screeching halt to the colors and events of the holidays…is every January a real slog? From the standpoint of creative marketing, there are so few CSD, Promo Mgr and Marketing Director slots open, it’s hard to believe. In the years (step away from that calculator) openings have been listed and written about in this blog, never seen anything like it. Lots of producer slots open – and next week or the week after, big news on creative producers will come your way. But right now, TV, network, and cable net marketing is pretty solid. Explanations or exceptions are welcome.

It happened in the fall, but just catching up. Alex Jasiukowicz’s promotion to Creative NManager, Video Streaming Services for Hearst switched up some of the jobs, and it sounds like it all is turning out splendidly.
Tornadoes are threatening so many of my family and friends. And snow. Come on, Old Man Winter. It’s even cold in the desert. News is on it, which leads to POP’s, right….let’s mix another dirty martini.
