Gilda Radner’s line, ‘it’s always something’ is the 2022 phrase so far. Despite the clean slate of a new year and the positive vibes surrounding us, it IS always something. To wit, the Colorado wildfire. That Hollywood disaster news event that smashed the peace of the Boulder area. CHRISSY FUNK, who had just moved to Colorado to be with her family after doing TV promo in Jacksonville, Palm Beach and Roanoke lost everything in the fire. Her whole family did. Gone. Burned down. Where do you even start to deal with that? She’s healthy. Unscathed. Her lovely Pug is fine. Family doing OK. But oy… She’s a terribly independent lady who is most happy while hiking trails across the country, so she really doesn’t want anything from any of us. Just thought you should know. God bless your family, Chrissy.
The loss of STAN MELTON weighs heavily on all who knew him. His family requests donations in his name to WaPo’s Helping Hands charities.

Think About This: “Grief’s shadow lasts indefinitely. Be patient while waiting for your light to shine again. It may peek occasionally around the darkness or come streaming through. It may be a different color or intensity. It may change how you receive life or how others regard you. Please. Be assured. There will be light again.” ~ Kimberly Starr
