July 3 is always a tough day. Both my brother’s birthday and my dog Shorty shared July 3. Both are gone. Loss is now marking the day in lieu of celebrations. So writing about a wonderful creative who took a buy out to ‘go home’ seems to add to the emotion of the day. Closing her Creative Services Director door at WKMG in Orlando, the Graham CBS affil, is KYM PEOPLES. She was there a very long time and was delightful to work with. I hope her ‘retirement’ will be one where she has a great day every day. And let’s ask ourselves….does a creative really retire? Nah…  Well Dunne! Kym.
