Over the years, so many wonderfully talented people have crossed my path. But I do believe that nobody loves the business of TV like PETE BARRETT. He’s retired now, but his days are still packed to the limit with TV stuff. His LinkedIn profile lists him as Retired TV Guy.  A former Creative Services Director at KCTV in KC as well as WKRC in Cincy, his Renaissance-like ability to do more than be creative led him to heading up Production. An ace with machines, he also is a car mechanic. Wish he lived closer to this writer. An Illinois boy, he was smart enough to land at WCIA to be close to family, his lovely daughter, and his retirement locale.
