That little piece of commercial nostalgia (if you know it you sang it in your head) sets the tone for the two, two, two creatives who are moving to Charlotte to be part of ERIK CANDIANI’s WJZY’s marketing efforts. DYLAN SMITH is coming from Jacksonville, where he worked with the fabulous SHERRY CARPENTER at legendary WJXT. He’s been writing and producing, and he wrote the best line (for which I would hire him myself) : “I don’t just write meaningful messages, I electrify your ears and make you look up.” He’s gonna need a heavier coat to go along with his new title of Marketing Manager. Wahoo. Joining him at the Nexstar Fox affil is SAM McGHEE (he’s the one pictured) now Senior Marketing Producer. He’s coming from one of the most gorgeous parts of the US, Lexington KY. He worked at WKYT as well as taking the role of Senior Producer for a prodco. He’s a Western Kentucky grad. Bravo and Well Dunne! to you both!
