What happens when you blend Pittsburg and Mississippi, other than two pretty long words? You get the effervescent EMILY MOWERS KURTZ, a promo lady who has taken up a wonderful challenge in her new role. As the Director of Marketing and Creative Services at Nexstar Media Group, she’s heading the DC stations, which are WDCW and WDVM. Very exciting and challenging, and she’s definitely up for it. She’s most recently wrangled the marketing for KPNX in Phoenix and is no doubt thrilled to be going back east. She was CSD for WVEC in the Hampton Roads market and got her start in Tupelo, Missisippi at WTVA. One of those super women who can make it all happen between the job, the hubs and the little ones.
