Have you ever seen the shirts that read Ski Lubbock? It’s ironic, of course, since Lubbock is in the center of the South Plains and is pretty much flat as a tortilla. Home to Texas Tech, it’s also home to SAMANTHA HARVEY, Marketing Director at KCBD, the NBC affil. Ms. Samantha is a grad of TT with a marketing degree, missing out on my cousin Dr Pat’s marketing classes by just a year. Luckily. She worked her way to lead the department, starting as a Producer, then Creative Services Manager and then getting the green light to head up the team. It’s so very American to work your way up.
