So the PROMAX Station Summit is off the calendar. No more 2023. Lots of thoughts on this, but the one that I HAVE to share is that the FUTURE of the Biz is NOT what this PROMAX gathering has addressed. Amazingly, there is a ‘business as usual’ approach and, well, it’s like the ending of Thelma and Louise.

Promax Experience Station Summit 2023

Dear Promax Community,

After much consultation and conversation amongst our Summit partners and stakeholders and with very careful consideration, we have decided to press pause on the Promax Experience: Station Summit for 2023.

Due to the economic uncertainty for many, this year’s Station Summit is not feasible as a not-for-profit association. During this time, we will kick off planning for Station Summit 2024! We want to be back in a big way with an exciting new venue, an updated schedule with a revised structure, and exciting speakers that fit the ever-changing nature of the industry and your evolving businesses.

Please know that not holding Station Summit this coming June is a great disappointment to everyone involved. We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for Promax, along with the genuine and kind offers to do whatever it takes to keep the association active within the industry and financially healthy.

That said, we are still holding the Promax Local Awards to recognize the dedicated marketing, promotion, and creative teams behind the work! We remain as committed as ever to you, our local television station community.
