JASON RUEL is another participant in the GTD* and there’s a very happy ending to the adventure. He’s landed a great job at ABNB Credit Union in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, so he’s not moving boxes and searching for a new place. He’s the Marketing Manager. Asked if he had a difficult time transitioning from TV marketing to a more corporate environment, he shared the following: My new employer, ABNB Credit Union, didn’t take any convincing understand the value in what I brought to the table from television marketing. My new boss, Melissa Rose, told me that she was ready, willing and able to hold off on making a hiring decision until the end of March. She said between my resume and interview that I checked every box she was looking for, for the Marketing Manager position. Hooray for Melissa Rose! Jason was in TV for 24 years and worked doing promotion for WAVY, WVEC both Hampton Roads stations, WPRI in Providence and WWLP in Springfield, MA. Lovely. He’s done freelance and volunteer work as well. A solid guy. Thanks for your input, Jason. And let’s look for the Melissa Roses of the world.
