Let’s catch up with a little of this, a little of that…..
Congrats to promo pro CARRIE KING, she of Chicago fame and work. She’s been busy the last two and a half years and now is the proud holder of a Masters of Liberal Arts from the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences at Johns Hopkins! Digital Media, Physics and Philosophy were her focus and wow…can’t wait to catch up with her and talk all three topics! Well Dunne! Carrie.
Down in Houston, one of the best is DALE LOCKETT whose team at KHOU has won a Telly Award for their 2020 documentary Celebrating 70 Years of Houston on Parade, which aired as a special. Well Dunne! one and all.
JOSH MEZA isn’t at WWL anymore! OMG he slipped over to KFMB in San Diego. Both Tegna stations so we’ll have to figure out how that’s happening, since he is a major LSU alum.
Where are all the promo producers going? They’re leaving TV pretty fast. Time to come up with some ideas on keeping creatives and attracting creatives IF ownership groups believe in the importance of marketing. Just lost a Sacramento producer to the California Senate, which sounds pretty exciting IMHO.
