Covid brain fog is nothing to sneeze at. I believe we might all have a touch of it, and anyone who hasn’t had trouble remembering details from the last year, please contact me! In that vein, we turn our focus to the gorgeous Gulf Coast area, specifically Mobile, where none other than the best teacher I ever had now resides. She’s even been elected at one time to the City Council. So when I called WKRG, the Nexstar-owned CBS affil there, JAY CHALMERS answered the CSD phone. What a lovely happenstance. Jay’s been in the CSD office for a touch over a year having taken his first CSD type slot after being Assistant Creative Services Director at Hearst’s Palm Beach station, WPBF.  Wanted the station to know their Pet of the Week was getting attention they might not know about thanks to my former teacher’s social media. Jay’s honed his promo chops at WOFL in Orlando as well as Jacksonville and Gainesville. He has a Masters of Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design. Very impressive. Mobile is looking better because of him no question. Well Dunne! Jay.
