Tomorrow, if you’re out and about in LA, drop by the AMC Marketplace 6 in Marina Del Rey (a favorite of this writer) and catch the premier of Jacir, the film written and directed by former TV promo pro WAHEED ALQAWASMI. Well Dunne! So many former TV types are doing films now…will do a round up soon.

It’s been a few months, which seem to fly by so fast it’s atomic…but back in June WIAT, Nexstar’s CBS affil welcomed a heavy hitter to their Creative Services Director open slot. And it has been open a L-O-N-G time. The lady in question is AMY JONES who has quite the syndie background. She’s been VP Marketing and Affiliate Relations for Rachel Ray, and the same thing for Dr. Phil, Donny & Marie, Ricki Lake, and Judge Hatchett.  Waiting to hear how she landed in Birmingham…bet it’s a great story.
