Let’s cue Queen…Another one bites the dust…. Is this the new theme song for TV marketing? Sounds a bit cynical, but on target at this point. The latest to leave behind the world of TV is JORDANA HOUCHINS, who has taken a job that promises to make a positive difference on many levels. The former Creative Group Manager at the now-Meredith soon-to-be Gray operation KPHO/KTVK in Phoenix is shutting the door and opening the new one marked Director Integrated Marketing for the American Cancer Society. The new job holds great store for her; her father fought but lost a cancer battle. Jordana will no doubt find amazing ways to use her talents and skills. She’s worked in Charlotte, LA, and obviously Phoenix. Very Well Dunne! Jordana.
Turning off the light for her TV career as well is JANEEN VOGELAAR, exiting her Marketing Director role at KARE in Minneapolis for a job heading up marketing for salo, based in the land of 10,000 Lakes, ie Minnesota.
Seriously corporate people. You need to figure out what you (and sorry, but it is you) are doing wrong. Losing people costs money, creates problems when there isn’t an immediate replacement, puts a burden on the people you have already on staff, gives potential employees reason to question whether or not you’re running an entity they want to be part of…there’s more but you should get the idea by now. Well Dunne can help you figure it out.
