Picture this…a creative talent is taking a new job AND saving the environment at the same time. MARC MORRISTON and his lovely wife bought their dream house a few years ago. There was a drawback – Marc was Creative Services Director at WNCT in Greenville and the house is in a Raleigh suburb, 75 miles from his office. Think North Carolina. For the last 4.5 years, he’s been driving 150 miles round trip daily, which means he absolutely loves his job and his wife as well. Now here’s the good part…he just got named CSD for Nexstar’s WNCN in Raleigh, a mere 20 min drive away from home. OMG, imagine the gasoline saved, the time spent outside the car, way less wear and tear on the tires, the longer sleep! Does it get any better? No. Since timing is everything, the only glitch is this last Monday, the Greenville newsroom debuted a new set and all were happy. He waited to tell his team until he was leaving the eastern NC station all ship shape. Marc has a background that includes Promotion Manager at WCNC in Charlotte, Promo Producer at Fox in Phoenix and partnering in a small ad agency. So happy to hear about this! Prediction for better air quality in NC. Well Dunne! Marc.

Think About This: “Great work is rarely done by committee. It’s a given that the more people weigh in, the more the work will revert to the safe, the expected, the bland.” ~ John Long, Executive Creative Director, Ogilvy USA
