Boise, Idaho was the market where one of the best promo people began his career. Of course, it was years before many of you were born, but Boise at that time offered the freedom, the encouragement and the ability to create the kind of marketing viewers responded to. I hope it’s still offers that same creative freedom because DAMIAN GREENBERG is getting his first shot at heading up the marketing department. The station in question is CBS affil KBOI. His official title is Promotion Manager. He’s got a wonderful background. The ASU grad has done promo for WCCO, WSB and KTVK before coming to Phoenix to write and produce for then-Belo KTVK. Next was LA where he again wrote and produced for Walt Disney TV before getting called back to be CSD for the nationally syndicated show Right This Minute.
