Amid all the carnage of Hurricane Ian, there is happy news out of Florida. DYNASTY TENNISON is now a Creative Project Manager for Scripps Networks out of Atlanta. It’s a hub of creativity there in Atlanta’s capital…where entertainment like Court TV, Newsy, ION and more find their promotion. She had been with CSD JAMES GRIFFEL at Scripps’ Palm Beach station, WPTV producing great spots and before that had been Creative Manager at the Black News Channel out of Tallahassee. Just to show you how talented she is, she earned her Masters degree from the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design. I know Palm Beach will miss you, but Well Dunne! Dynasty!
If you’ve ever experienced a hurricane, you know that once it’s come and gone, the badness stays for what seems an endless amount of time. If you don’t already know that our 2022 lives require…and I mean demand…electricity, then it’s time to wake up. No AC is top of mind in Florida, where the temps and humidity are sometimes the same number. Ugh. No internet means most of us are cut off from the outside world and news. Some people live in Florida without a radio, or an emergency radio that you crank. An essential. WINK in Ft Meyers got slammed off the air and that amazing group of people are making TV happen using the old techniques. They deserve medals.
