Nineteen years ago, we all know exactly where we were when the towers fell…when the Pentagon lost a side…when a field in Pennsylvania instantly became hallowed ground. Because most of us were working in the media on that day (please refrain from stories about being in middle school…) it seems like a good idea to write down our thoughts and actions of that day. Write them down and then we’ll compile them and find a way to stash it away for the future. Keep the sense of history alive in a time when something unknown then, Twitter, now brings information and chaos moment by moment. If anybody would like to do this, reach out and let’s help make living history. Write it. Tape it. Video it. Writing might be best…and perhaps the best way to remember. And share. Let me know…

Tomorrow, we’ll meet Matt Montoya of KOAT.

Think About This: “Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost, a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11.” ~ President Barack Obama
