With all the chaos involved in migrating (which is just the tech term for changing) the blog and the Well Dunne! Talent site away from wretched GoDaddy to the wonderful Blue Host, this news might have been posted…or might not. Let’s err on the side of making sure it does, since NISHAN is not only a very talented guy who is going places, but he’s a great human being as well.

There’s so much more to people than their titles and jobs. Sure, this whole endeavor is about people with new titles and jobs, but that’s really the excuse to get to meet and know creative people and hear their stories. It’s a wonderfully uplifting outreach (that also serves as a marketing tool…hire my voices people) and today, we’ll kick off the week with a tres interessant person who is about to take their first seat in the Creative Services Director chair. Cue NISHAN GILMET who’s heading to South Bend, Indiana where he’ll be Creative Services Director for Weigel’s ABC affiliate, WBND. He’s been learning and thriving in the promo worlds at WHIO in Dayton and most recently at WLWT in Cincy. More impressive is his side interest of being a volunteer firefighter. And his bravery has been key to having beaten Hodgkin’s lymphoma. That, my friends, is worthy of a major and sincere Well Dunne! Nishan.
