Nothing like ending a rather sloppy, draggy week than with good news. And just in time to beat the 5 o’clock buzzer, so to speak. One of the perks of writing this column (preferred term to blog) is meeting people you like instantly. One such person is LEC GARCIA, who loves WFAA with equal fervor. Lec, who is a fellow SMU pony, made the switch from Dallas to DC when he took the Marketing Director slot at WUSA. He’d been at WFAA as a marketing producer and marketing project manager but will now step up to lead the creatives in the nation’s capital. Very nice. He started his promo career doing radio promotion in Nashville before taking a job producing video at Texas Motor Speedway. So very excited for him, as I know you are as well. Well Dunne Lec!
