In Texas, and perhaps most of the south, when someone is dubbed “a hoot”, it’s a high compliment that denotes a person as fun, funny, talented and someone you want to sit next to at a dinner party. One such person who get named a hoot is JENNY DOLPH, who besides getting this new honor is also getting a new job. Jenny is heading out west to be the number 2 to her once and future boss LARRY WATZMAN. Jenny was Assistant CSD to Larry at WBNS in Columbus. When Larry took the CSD slot at Scripps’ Las Vegas, KTNV, she jumped at the chance to reunite, so the dynamic duo will both miss the Midwest winter together. The Purdue grad has learned promo with successively upward positions at WLFI in Lafayette, Indiana, WSJV in Elkhart, WNDU in South Bend, and Hearst in Pittsburgh. She and her fiancé will be settling in just in time to help heat up that November sweeps period in Sin City. Very Well Dunne, Jenny!

Manny the Movie Guy, aka MANNY DE LA ROSA former promo pro at Palm Springs’ KMIR, has earned his Masters degree. Throw that confetti for him…he’s a Magna Cum Laude from Concordia College in NYC…it’s a Masters of Arts, which he already was and now has the paper to prove it. Well Dunne! Manny.
