It’s very difficult to grasp that ‘when one door closes another opens…especially when you’re standing outside a closed door. Especially one that was shut in your face, so to speak. But another door actually does open. Not on ‘our schedule’ but on another schedule we can’t access. In the end, that other door is always (repeat always) better. Which brings us to CORY BAYLE, a talented guy who was promoting in Lubbock. Comes the layoffs (or downsize or any one of a number of terms that are meant to lighten the sting of losing your paycheck) and Cory’s resilience is tested. Happy (beyond happy) to announce that Mr. Bayle is heading to Atlanta to be a promo producer for Scripps’ Newsy. He’s done TV promo in Lubbock, where he got a degree from Texas Tech, but more wonderful is he’s been an on-air radio talent. Yep, been in markets like Corpus, Dallas, Houston and, just so you don’t think he hasn’t been out of Texas, Steubenville, Ohio. He’ll be taking all that writing, producing, editing and related talents to the new gig and a great new city. A big Well Dunne! Cory.
Think About This: “Sometimes,” said the horse “you need to be reminded that it’s courageous to have a soft heart, and you are spectacular because of it.” ~
