Detroit City…hard on the Canadian border in the eastern part of Michigan. Home to the Henry Ford Museum, the big US auto firms and soon MICHAEL STEWART, who is taking the creative reins of the ViacomCBS stations there. He’s going home, so to speak. Having worked for CBS in Dallas, he’s well versed and happy to be rejoining the CBS creative team. Mike has run his own shop in KC after a CSD run for Meredith’s KCTV. The biz is topsy-turvy but he’s landed in a great spot (I do believe the one from which Pam Baumann retired…). Other stops along the way for this KU Jayhawk grad include being CSD at KFMB in San Diego, Promo Manager at KPRC in Houston and he learned the promo game at KJRH in Tulsa. He’ll no doubt have to buy a new winter coat, but he’ll be so happy and do such hot work, nobody will notice. Very Well Dunne! Mike.
