Finally! A dream come true job in a dream come true place. Yes, it IS possible. For instance, someone who loves hiking, mountains, biking, lake living and the outdoors finds a TV CSD slot in a beautiful area that offers all above. But wait, there’s more. It’s very close to family, like in driving distance. Who is the lucky lady who has found her bliss? None other than CHRISSY FUNK, who is going to be the new CSD for Graham Media’s WSLS the NBC affil in Roanoke, Virginia. Let’s hear it for her. She’s a spark plug, Chrissy is. A strong (mentally and physically) lady who has reinvented herself and in doing so, found her joy. She hiked the Appalachian Trail, and she’ll be totally near it now. She brings experience and talent, having wrangled creative as CSD at WPTV in Palm Beach and worked with the one and only SHERRY CARPENTER  at Jacksonville’s WJXT as Promo Manager. Let’s not overlook the writer producer time in Denver at KMGH and Albany’s WTEN. Miss Chrissy always has the best smile and the cutest pug dog. Yep, that’s her. A big Well Dunne! is in store for the lady living the good life.

So many people were touched and shocked at the news that MIKE HENRY passed away. I’m not going to post all the comments, but know they all said the same wonderful things about him. May we all live such a life.
