Let’s start the week off on a whimsical note. We can get to the jobs thing tomorrow (or whenever) but the spotlight today shines on Austin TX CSD STEVE HARRIS. He’s at the CBS affil, KEYE,  in the Texas capital. Mr. H  was the subject of a news story and it wasn’t related to crime, traffic, or politics. How refreshing. Steve, it seems, has a jaw-dropping collection of an item we all had at one time. His lunch box collection! Numbering at least 200 (or 400 if we count the ones that need space for display) they are all reminders of our past…from hard-to-find HR Puffinstuf (google that one kids) to the Beatles Yellow Submarine, Steve has them on display in his Austin home, which is referred to as the Pop Culture House. Furniture, décor and more from the mid-1950’s set the tone. Check out the story yourself. VERY cool. Steve, next time Austin is my destination, invite me over! Well Dunne! Steve.
