Did you ever hear about someone and wish you had met them? Someone whose talents, reputation and exceptional gifts are legendary? Someone who was a great boss, artist and, more importantly, loving mom. When promo dynamo CARRIE KING shared that her friend LINDA KANE had suddenly left us, it was obvious Linda was all the above and more. A real talent whose clean, simple style set her work apart. Always a leader, she headed up Linda Kane Design, a 360-degree design experience for entertainment, broadcast, digital and sports industries. It was named one of the 15 Most Influential Designers by Promax / BDA. The sudden and unexpected passing was a result of Type 1 Diabetes. If you read this on Friday, her funeral was in her native Massachusetts. What a wonderful person gone too soon. So very sad to hear.
