If you’re not from ‘around these parts’, then you might not know about the Tyler Rose Festival. It’s held in East Texas every year, so you have plenty of time to plan to attend since it’s held in the fall. October I think. It’s a celebration of rose growing an essential part of Tyler’s economy. Tyler is a lovely market and it’s where not only the Rose Festival is held but where JEREMY BUTLER lives. He’s now the  Marketing Director at ABC affil KLTV. He’s held that spot for a bit (a little over a year and a half) but his background is so terrific. He’d been the fulltime host of their show East Texas Now. Since its debut nine years ago, Jeremy’s quick wit and sense of humor was an essential part of the show’s success. Exactly the kind of open-minded slot from which a good marketing person would spring. He’s done marketing before…at KYTX the CBS station in town where he held the slot Marketing Promotions Manager. And he’s been Promotions Manager of Fox affil WFXK in Longview. He’s a happy dad, husband, and host in addition to that marketing we just told you about.
