Paul Gaulke – 11/27/23

The world is less happy…less kind…less loving today. PAUL GAULKE passed away this Monday morning. He died as he wished…at home, in his own bed, in the arms of his beloved Emily and with their cherished dogs. Just typing that brings a feeling of peace for some odd reason. Paul bravely fought health issues that would be daunting to a super hero…but he persevered. Brain tumors are cruel. His TV years were spent as Director of Creative Services and Marketing at KSTP in his native Minneapolis and he was head of all the creatives at Media General out of Richmond for over 10 years. He had friends all across the USA. All as crazy and talented as he was. He retired and spent time in Portland, Oregon enjoying home life. Please make a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association in his name. And send his wife your thoughts, prayers, and comfort. He was just a marvelous human…..

  1. Paul was one of the good people in this business. Smart, kind…yet always focused on the task at hand. I always had a great working relationship with him at every stop in his career. RIP Paul.
