West Texas is a world unto itself. The Permian Basin was, at one time, filled with water. Long time ago. Lots of fossils to prove it. Long stretches of flat vistas populated with prairie dogs, tarantulas and Texas-friendly folks. Midland and sister city Odessa form the heart of the area, and KOSA is the CBS affil in that market. They’ve got a new CSD. At the first helm of wrangling the marketing efforts of a station is ANDO SHEAFFER. He’s got a great background in TV, and a very busy schedule. We’ll catch up to his details after vacation time is a FB post memory.

Won’t bore you with having no A/C on the two hottest days (so far) of the year. Suffice it to say one can live through it…it’s wretched…women sweat despite what To Kill A Mockingbird said…and you can never have too much refrigerator-cold water.
