SHAY MERRITT spent a long time doing TV promo at such places as WCNC Charlotte, WTOC Savannah and News 14 Carolina…and a stint with Magid. When she stepped away from marketing TV, she didn’t sit idle. She slid over to the non-profit world and put her skills, talents and connections to work making sure people had food.  Loaves and Fishes was one of her beneficiaries and is the most admired agency in the Queen City, imo.  There seems to be some kind of invisible connection between marketing a station and feeding the hungry. Shay was a major asset everywhere, and is now officially saying ‘hello retirement’ to the world. I’m sure we’ll be thrilled with her next adventure after a much deserved vacay from the fray. Well Dunne Shay!

Speaking of Charlotte, former WJZY Creative wrangler COUNCIL BRADSHAW is so enamored with his new slot as the DP for White Orange Productions, well, words are inadequate. Isn’t that the best! Well Dunne! Council.
