CHISTOPHER DUTTON seems to have gotten out of LA before the unprecedented fire situation going on now, making life so very dangerous. He decamped Burbank and is now in the Phoenix market as the Creative Services Manager at NBC affil KPNX. He’s a Longhorn from the University of Texas who started his TV career at the student station in Austin, where he then took a promo writer producer slot at KXAN, then got a promotion to Senior W/P. San Diego’s NBC O&O was the next stop before heading up I-5 to LA where he did the promo thing at ABC-7, and he was lead editor and post supervisor for their pre-award special On The Red Carpet. Next thing you know, he was doing work for the ABC TV Group and Disney. Now that he’s in the Valley of the Sun, he’ll up the game in the promo arena for sure. Sending him a Well Dunne! and sending the California firefighters all the energy they need.
