Travel is in her future. Actually, it’s in her present, too. AMELIE TSENG is the new VP of Communications for Travel Channel. For the last 5 years, she had her own firm and before that, the Vassar grad was VP PR at Bravo. She’s also done comm for CBS Cable. Well Dunne! Amelie. She will be based in NYC.

Also at Travel, RICK GOMES is the new Director, Communications. He comes over from Sayles & Winnikoff where he handled such TV-centric clients as ION Television, PBS, and mini’s and movie for NBC, SyFy, Spike and Lifetime. He’s an Emerson grad. Well Dunne! Rick.

He’ll arrive in the Queen City just in time to see the gorgeous spring blossoms erupt. Hope he brings some sinus medicine! Ha! Well Dunne! Craig.

Think About This: “The word ‘reconcile’ means to restore to friendship or harmony. In each of our pasts there is something that might be restored to friendship or harmony. For some it’s a relationship that became difficult. For others it might be a lost opportunity or unmet expectations. It can be an old hurt or misunderstanding that has never been resolved.” “Whatever has not been reconciled in our mind we carry forth as a part of us that is lacking in order or harmony. Often the solution rests in allowing ourselves to perceive in a new way that is unencumbered by old ideas or outdated concepts.” “The good news is that each of us is totally capable of reconciliation – and absolutely in charge of our ability to bring this about.” ~ Ron Scott
