Show of hands…who knows what happens in June in Aurora, NY? If you said the MacKenzie-Childs yearly sale, you win a courtly check bowl. Aurora is a little over an hour south of Rochester, which is where TERRY KOWALSKI is headed to wrangle the creative for WROC, the CBS affil in Rochester, a city with the nickname of Little Detroit. That will make Terry happy, since Michigan is his home state and Detroit is where he grew up. Got degree from Michigan State (warning – he’s quite the Spartan fanatic and you should not confuse Michigan and Michigan State!). He’ll be helping the folks at WUTR in Utica out while they find a new him. A man of many talents, he has his Masters in PR from Kent State and has headed up creative services for Pittsburgh’s WPGH, Weigel’s South Bend stations, ABC in Toledo and (then) Young Broadcasting’s WTEN in Albany. He’s all excited but is pondering the best way to move his extensive antique radio collection. Well Dunne! Terry.
