What a delightful day – two favorites have new jobs to tell us about. TWO. Great guys. Great jobs. Not knowing where to begin, let’s turn to the alphabet and that order which has served us well.

MICHEL PELLETIER  has been named CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) for an exciting ‘new’ company that is based on an old company now sprouting into exciting media areas. His new office (which is really going to be at home) will be combined with the ability to make a ‘real difference.” Equal Pride is the name of the new entity, having acquired Pride Media (Out.com/ Magazine, Advocate.com/ Magazine, Out Traveler Magazine, Plus Magazine and Pride.com) and all are being rebranded as Equal Pride, becoming the leading LGBTQ+ owned and certified voice to the LGBTQ+ community with plans to expand the audience with women and people of color. Whew, that’s a lot of combining and no doubt Michel can help write more succinctly, having come from the world of TV marketing. Yep, the ability to condense a lot of info into :30, :15, :10 and :04 is a very valuable skill set. Michel will call on his roles at WVEC/Norfolk, nationally syndicated show The List, doing affiliate relations and all for Warners and, well, you get the idea. Well Dunne! Michel

Coming in under the “T’s” is JIM THOMAS, who is filling the coveted marketing Director slot at NBC affil KARE in Minneapolis. He doesn’t even have to more. Jim has been a consultant of late but did an amazing job heading up Journal Broadcast marketing as well as having done a marketing leadership turn at KDVR in Denver.  He’s absolutely the best, and a gentleman to boot. Could not be happier for him. Major Well Dunne! salutes Jim Thomas.
