Got the most wonderful note from WNCN’s CSD MARC MORRISTON – all about his old job’s new person. Instead of trying to rewrite a perfectly well written bit of info, here it is in entirety. Wanted to e-troduce you to one of my favorite people in the business my #2 Nikki Oostra who is officially moving into the WNCT Marketing Director chair next Monday, taking her first management job. She’s an accomplished and amazing Producer who I feel very confidently will continue to grow WNCT and be a strong leader for the department. Before heading to eastern NC, NIKKI was a promo producer at WSOC in Charlotte. It takes a lot to impress Marc, so Ms. OOSTRA must be totally terrific. Well Dunne!
A big Well Dunne! and bravo going to WKMG’s News Director, ALLISON McGINLEY, who was named News Director of the Year by Broadcasting & Cable. Her promo department is very proud and are, themselves, a very talented group of folks. Orlando is alive with exciting TV happenings.
Anybody catch the Snoop Dog promos for NBC Sunday night football – they ran all last week. Need to track down who did those. They were awesome.
