Out west, lovely TERRI PECK is headed to Oregon from Utah to head up the creative efforts of KPTV, the FOX affil in Beaverton, which is a mere 7 miles west of Portland. Terri has been at FOX in Vegas as well as CSD at WNEM and WJRT in Flint. At one time, Ms. P was a sports producer at WFTX in Cape Coral. She’s an FSU grad who seems to have embraced the cooler climes of the Northwest. Well Dunne! Terri.

Meanwhile on the east coast, the multi-talented NISHAN GILMET is trading the windy city for the big apple. He’s currently Director of Creative Marketing at NewsNation Network but once in NYC, he’ll morph into the Director, Production, Creative Marketing. I hope he changes how that’s phrased. Anyway, he’s one to watch. Background includes a lot of freelance production as well as Assistant CSD at WLWT in Cincy and CSD at WBND in South Bend. Would someone please let those who make decisions (without much knowledge of the subject matter)  know that Creative Services Directors and Marketing Directors are distinct entities in the world and need to be given the attention and respect their  talents require….absolutely amazed in a bad way that so many in the HR Department treat creative people as if they just unload boxes or some other menial task.
